
Kiprich
Rising star Kiprich, born Marlon J. Plunkett in St.Catherine Jamaica on the 2nd day of March 1979, he is the second child of three boys. His hobbies are football (soccer) and track and field. During his years at Ardenne high school, Kiprichs first love was poetry which peaked his curiosity of sound and rhythms. Growing up in Jamaica he was exposed to a variety of music his favourite being soul (R&B) and Country and Western.
Unknowing to this young artist of poetry he was launched into show business after performing at his high school fete (party).
Kiprich's music mentors Shabba Ranks, Bounty Killer and Yami Bola influenced his decision to embark on his musical journey eight years ago.
Preferring to write his own lyrics the dearest to his heart being Nah waste time Kiprichs realty of a woman. He has worked with greats such as Barrington Levy, Elephant Man, Beenie Man just to name a few. Kiprich has toured in most U.S cities Miami, Chicago, New York, Cleveland, Virginia and throughout Europe. But his most memorable shows have been in the Caribbean St.Lucia and St.Kitts. His most memorable performance came when he performed in St. Croix where he a standing ovation from the crowd to whom were very elated by his spectacular performance.
Kiprich, a talented and wise young artist says, he always puts God first and prays before each performance.
