Her roots are deep in the talented Tucker family. Jimmy Tucker, her uncle is well known as legend in Jamaica's music culture Junior Tucker; her brother emerged as a child prodigy and has built a name for himself in the music industry.

Her introduction to the stage came as a result of her providing backing vocals for Judy Mowatt on a Twelve Tribes of Isreal show. She was greeted with warm reception. Her love for show business was kindled then and a relationship with music has been flowing steadily ever since. Shadon's wonderful feel for music made her very much in demand; She was sought by and toured extensively with other artistes including veteran reggae act Bunny Wailer, Dennis Brown ,Andrew Tosh, Junior Tucker as they traveled throughout the Caribbean, North America, Europe and Africa.

Ahumanitarian, Shadon embarked on a solo career providing lead vocals for the Fifty fifty band in aid of charity. She was then signed to a production deal with Solomonic Production chaired by Bunny Wailer. In an effort to boost professionalism Shadon studied with the renowned Curtis Watson.
